Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Cuppa AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service provided by Yee Technologies. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not install or use the extension. Your continued use of the service constitutes ongoing acceptance of these terms and any updates we may make.

2. Description of Service

Cuppa AI is a Google Workspace add-on that transforms Google Docs text content into professional educational video tutorials using artificial intelligence. The service:

• Reads the text content of your currently active Google Document (with your explicit consent via OAuth).
• Sends that text to AI language models (Azure OpenAI or Google Gemini) to generate a structured video script.
• Renders the script into a video with visual slides, diagrams, and neural text-to-speech narration.
• Returns a downloadable video file to you.

3. Use of Service

We expect all users to utilize Cuppa AI in a constructive, ethical, and legal manner:

• You must use Cuppa AI in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws.
• You are solely responsible for the content of the documents you process through the service.
• You must not use the service to generate harmful, illegal, threatening, abusive, or infringing content.
• You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit the service infrastructure.
• You must not use automated tools to overwhelm or abuse the API beyond normal usage patterns.

4. Credits & Billing

Cuppa AI operates on a credit-based billing model:

• Free Tier: Each user receives one (1) free video generation per calendar day.
• Paid Credits: Additional video generations require credits, which can be purchased through our integrated Flutterwave payment system. Credit packages and pricing are displayed in the add-on sidebar.
• Non-Refundable: Purchased credits are non-refundable once used. Unused credits do not expire.
• Failed Generations: If a video generation fails due to a server-side error, the credits consumed will be refunded to your account balance automatically.

5. AI-Generated Content

By using Cuppa AI, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Video content is generated by artificial intelligence (Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini) and may not always be accurate, complete, or free of errors.
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of AI-generated content before distribution or publication.
• Yee Technologies does not guarantee the factual correctness of AI-generated scripts, diagrams, or narration.
• Generated videos may contain AI hallucinations, inaccuracies, or misrepresentations of the source material.

6. Intellectual Property

Your content remains entirely yours. We do not claim ownership of the input text or the resulting outputs:

• You retain ownership of the original text content in your Google Documents.
• Yee Technologies grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the generated video assets for personal or commercial use, subject to the terms of the third-party AI providers involved.
• The Cuppa AI software, branding, and infrastructure remain the intellectual property of Yee Technologies.

7. Data Processing & Privacy

Your use of Cuppa AI is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

• Document text is processed in-memory only and is never permanently stored on our servers.
• Your data is transmitted to third-party AI providers (Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini) solely for video script generation.
• We do not use your Google user data for AI/ML model training, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to the service.
• You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

8. Google API Services Compliance

Cuppa AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

9. Limitation of Liability

Cuppa AI is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Yee Technologies is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from:

• The use or inability to use the service.
• Inaccuracies in AI-generated content.
• Loss of data or unauthorized access to your data.
• Service interruptions or downtime.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if these terms are violated or if we suspect unauthorized usage. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately, but your rights under Section 6 regarding previously generated content remain in effect.
